Simi holds a BCompt, BCom (Hons), CTA and is a registered CA(SA).
Considered an expert in the Governance, Risk and Compliance fields, Daryl has been designated as one of the first Certified Compliance Professionals C(Prof) by the Compliance Institute of Southern Africa. He has more than 28 years' experience in the various risk fields. Daryl fulfilled various key roles within the Liberty Group over 15 years including as the Group Compliance Officer, Head of Forensics and various governance and risk related roles.
Since leaving Liberty, Daryl has provided consulting services and led key projects to a broad range of South African and international clients in governance, risk management, compliance, training and development, forensic, business development, project management, business funding, strategy development, business acquisition and business process design.
Daryl holds a BCompt, MBA, Post Graduate Diploma in Compliance Management (including Interpretation of Statutes, Corporate Governance and Anti Money Laundering Control). Daryl is also an accredited facilitator and assessor in terms of the National Qualifications Framework requirements.
